OLTRA LAMENT:

Dust forms from dusk and earth is reborn from dust: hardness, repetitive and multiform in its landscape of climbs and ascents.

'OLTRA LAMENT' is LAMIEE's second album and is the result of a sonic, folkloric and emotional research that continues the discourse started in the first chapter of his musical production: 'FISICA'.

At the root of both works lies the Piedmontese tradition of ‘masche’, mysterious and archaic figures suspended between good and evil, changeable in their forms and appearances, capable of casting spells, of healing or persecuting those who disturb them.

An evocation in five laments, like prototypes of a traditional song form, resonating in a burnt and shaded landscape.

Dances and lamentations, ecstatic peaks and brief apparitions: 'OLTRA LAMENT' is the portrait of a pre-human landscape teeming with voices.

A lost look among the cliffs, that dissolves in their dust.
